Crompton Bricklaying Trowels
New patent protected trowel by the bricklayer stu crompton from greater Manchester....
Tad on the heavier side than a mashalltown but not that that’s a problem as it’s a stiffer blade, my only minor problem and I mean minor problem is it feels like a shorter handle than I’m used to with the marshalltown but added bon rubber to the end and feels like it’s more balanced as well
Bought one for my husband and he absolutely loves it! Stu was quick to reply to questions and helped me chose the right style for my husband. Will definitely be purchasing items again. Thank you :)
It was a gift for my husband and he love it and he wants me to order him other one
Best trowel I’ve used yet , had marshaltowns and Rose but this one is the best yet
Well a few things. 1st its a high lift on the trowel. Would be a very good change if you done different handle lifts as it makes a difference. 2nd not sure if all the tempers on the steel are the same but my trowel has chipped a bit and I no you shouldn’t hit things with your trowel but wanted to treat it exactly the same as my marshal town I was using and no chips or indents. House building it’s good for setting out and starting off but after that limited use for gage marks. With some new houses being 150mm cavities mite need some new marks on. The handle nice and comfy. Overall I think it’s ideal for learners apprentices to get used to gage and sizes. 8/10. Being the lift on the handle main problem.
